The OLEV Grant (which is also known as the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS)) offers a £350 discount off the purchase & installation costs of a home charging point. The grant is available for a wide range of EVs and plug-in hybrids. You can claim one charge point per qualifying vehicle and each household can claim up to two charge point grants. OLEV also offer the separate Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) grant which can be claimed by any business, charity or public authority and provides up to £350 off the cost of purchasing & installing workplace charging points, up to 40 sockets.

How to claim the OLEV grant

To be eligible for the OLEV grant you need to meet the following criteria:

  • You have off-street parking
  • Your vehicle is eligible for the grant
  • You are the registered keeper or primary user of the vehicle after 1 October 2016
  • You can provide evidence that you own or lease an electric vehicle
  • You have not already claimed the grant for your vehicle
  • By claiming the grant, you are not exceeding the limit of two OLEV funded charge points per household

If you meet the above criteria then the next step is to contact us for a free, no-obligation quote. As the vendor, we make the grant application and remove the discount from the overall cost. We will require a few pieces of information from you when you confirm you want to go ahead with the installation.
